Teg Interpretation Chart. A chart was a container, a vessel into which one poured data, and its form was largely a matter of convention, a task to be completed with a few clicks in a spreadsheet program. It looked vibrant. The neat, multi-column grid of a desktop view must be able to gracefully collapse into a single, scrollable column on a mobile phone. That humble file, with its neat boxes and its Latin gibberish, felt like a cage for my ideas, a pre-written ending to a story I hadn't even had the chance to begin.
