A 2D printable document allows us to hold our data in our hands; a 3D printable object allows us to hold our designs. The difference in price between a twenty-dollar fast-fashion t-shirt and a two-hundred-dollar shirt made by a local artisan is often, at its core, a story about this single line item in the hidden ledger. It can and will fail. The Sears catalog could tell you its products were reliable, but it could not provide you with the unfiltered, and often brutally honest, opinions of a thousand people who had already bought them. Once these screws are removed, the front screen assembly is held in place by a combination of clips and a thin layer of adhesive around its perimeter.
