Through knitting, we can slow down, appreciate the process of creation, and connect with others in meaningful ways. They might start with a simple chart to establish a broad trend, then use a subsequent chart to break that trend down into its component parts, and a final chart to show a geographical dimension or a surprising outlier. The project forced me to move beyond the surface-level aesthetics and engage with the strategic thinking that underpins professional design.
