Nutrition Density Chart. It is a network of intersecting horizontal and vertical lines that governs the placement and alignment of every single element, from a headline to a photograph to the tiniest caption. The brief was to create an infographic about a social issue, and I treated it like a poster. This is typically done when the device has suffered a major electronic failure that cannot be traced to a single component. It recognized that most people do not have the spatial imagination to see how a single object will fit into their lives; they need to be shown.
