We had to design a series of three posters for a film festival, but we were only allowed to use one typeface in one weight, two colors (black and one spot color), and only geometric shapes. But it’s the foundation upon which all meaningful and successful design is built. A basic pros and cons chart allows an individual to externalize their mental debate onto paper, organizing their thoughts, weighing different factors objectively, and arriving at a more informed and confident decision. The world is drowning in data, but it is starving for meaning.
