Drawing, an age-old form of artistic expression, holds within its grasp the power to transcend boundaries and unlock the infinite potential of human creativity. It must mediate between the volume-based measurements common in North America (cups, teaspoons, tablespoons, fluid ounces) and the weight-based metric measurements common in Europe and much of the rest of the world (grams, kilograms). Every printable chart, therefore, leverages this innate cognitive bias, turning a simple schedule or data set into a powerful memory aid that "sticks" in our long-term memory with far greater tenacity than a simple to-do list. An individual artist or designer can create a product, market it globally, and distribute it infinitely without the overhead of manufacturing, inventory, or shipping. The first of these is "external storage," where the printable chart itself becomes a tangible, physical reminder of our intentions.
