Did the headline font have a range of weights (light, regular, bold, black) to provide enough flexibility for creating a clear hierarchy? The manual required me to formalize this hierarchy. When we encounter a repeating design, our brains quickly recognize the sequence, allowing us to anticipate the continuation of the pattern. Many products today are designed with a limited lifespan, built to fail after a certain period of time to encourage the consumer to purchase the latest model.
