The price we pay is not monetary; it is personal. Now, I understand that the blank canvas is actually terrifying and often leads to directionless, self-indulgent work. The world, I've realized, is a library of infinite ideas, and the journey of becoming a designer is simply the journey of learning how to read the books, how to see the connections between them, and how to use them to write a new story.
