The visual hierarchy must be intuitive, using lines, boxes, typography, and white space to guide the user's eye and make the structure immediately understandable. To further boost motivation, you can incorporate a fitness reward chart, where you color in a space or add a sticker for each workout you complete, linking your effort to a tangible sense of accomplishment and celebrating your consistency. Was the body font legible at small sizes on a screen? Did the headline font have a range of weights (light, regular, bold, black) to provide enough flexibility for creating a clear hierarchy? The manual required me to formalize this hierarchy. I was witnessing the clumsy, awkward birth of an entirely new one.
