It might be a weekly planner tacked to a refrigerator, a fitness log tucked into a gym bag, or a project timeline spread across a conference room table. This visual power is a critical weapon against a phenomenon known as the Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve. That disastrous project was the perfect, humbling preamble to our third-year branding module, where our main assignment was to develop a complete brand identity for a fictional company and, to my initial dread, compile it all into a comprehensive design manual.
