Emt Offset Chart. Why that typeface? It's not because I find it aesthetically pleasing, but because its x-height and clear letterforms ensure legibility for an older audience on a mobile screen. When replacing a component like a servo drive, it is critical to first back up all parameters from the old drive using the control interface, if possible. Does the proliferation of templates devalue the skill and expertise of a professional designer? If anyone can create a decent-looking layout with a template, what is our value? This is a complex question, but I am coming to believe that these tools do not make designers obsolete. They are the very factors that force innovation.
