Change A Chart Style In Excel

It changed how we decorate, plan, learn, and celebrate. The process of achieving goals, even the smallest of micro-tasks, is biochemically linked to the release of dopamine, a powerful neurotransmitter associated with feelings of pleasure, reward, and motivation. The hand-drawn, personal visualizations from the "Dear Data" project are beautiful because they are imperfect, because they reveal the hand of the creator, and because they communicate a sense of vulnerability and personal experience that a clean, computer-generated chart might lack. It gave me ideas about incorporating texture, asymmetry, and a sense of humanity into my work. This is not necessarily a nefarious bargain—many users are happy to make this trade for a high-quality product—but it is a cost nonetheless. Sketching is fast, cheap, and disposable, which encourages exploration of many different ideas without getting emotionally attached to any single one.
