A designer who only looks at other design work is doomed to create in an echo chamber, endlessly recycling the same tired trends. The world of the printable is therefore not a relic of a pre-digital age but a vibrant and expanding frontier, constantly finding new ways to bridge the gap between our ideas and our reality. This new frontier redefines what a printable can be. This new awareness of the human element in data also led me to confront the darker side of the practice: the ethics of visualization.
